In December last year Wilhelmsen’s Ships Services Durban staff entertained the I Care boys to a ‘Racing Christmas Party’.
17 children, along with their house ‘mothers and fathers’ had a fun-filled afternoon at Gateway Theatre of Shopping Race Track.
The boys showed an innate ability to master braking and accelerating, not to mention steering a go-kart around the track and enjoyed themselves enormously.
After the racing the boys ejoyed a pizza and were each given a skate-board and other presents from Wilhelmsen’s staff. During the meal the children thanked their benefactors for “being our new family”.
Management and staff of WSS were happy to have ‘made a difference’ and I Care thanks them for their on-going and wonderful support over the years.
