Sixteen boys, seven from Durban and nine from Johannesburg entered Umuzi for their three month rehabilitation course – Khuthaza – on 13 June 2011. They expressed their pleasure at being chosen for this course and vowed that, because of it, their lives would change for the better.
At the end of the three months they will graduate and either return home or stay with I Care at one of our Illovo houses.
