On March 24 long time friends, Gary Babich and Rowland Visser of Durban, will be taking part in Iron Man Melbourne which means a 3.8 km swim, 180 km cycle ride and a 42 km run.
They will be the only South Africans taking part in a field of 136 different countries. They are racing in the colours of ‘Iron Man for Street Kids’, an I Care NPO, in an attempt to raise awareness and funds.
I Care wishes both men “good luck” and a huge “thank you”.
